How anyone can say that this is good for America, is beyond me. Socialism doesn’t work. Ask the Soviets. Ask the Chinese why they had to go to an open market system. Ask North Korea why they are starving and the South is prosperous.

Idiots.

Teary-eyed communists cheer Obama victory
Celebrate ‘biggest political realignment since 1930s … first step toward a new society’

Communist Party USA leaders – including one who spoke with tears in his eyes – held a confab at which they celebrated the election of Barack Obama as “the biggest political realignment since the 1930s” and urged the immediate implementation of socialist policies.

The People’s Weekly World, a weekly newspaper affiliated with the Communist Party USA, or CPUSA, reported on a meeting last week of top party leaders who celebrated Obama’s election and announced a call to action to “carry out the election mandate, including immediate government steps to help Americans hit by the economic crisis and bringing peace to Iraq and Afghanistan.”

CPUSA National Chairman Sam Webb noted the election represented “a necessary first step toward a new society.”

He stated that a required remedy to the country’s financial crisis “is massive fiscal expansion, large injections of federal money into the economy [to fund public works job programs, extend jobless benefits and food stamps and help Americans hold onto their homes].”

Obama the Liar Part Deux.

Yep, he’s just another fucking politician that is lying as soon as he opens his mouth. Hate to say I told you idiots that this guy was a bad idea, but, I said it.

This comes from the Associated with terrorists Press:

Obama adviser once critical of Clinton is back

A former adviser to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign who once called Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton a “monster” is now working on the transition team for the agency that Clinton may lead.

State Department officials said Friday that Samantha Power is among foreign policy experts the president-elect’s office selected to help the incoming administration prepare for Clinton’s anticipated nomination as secretary of state.

The Obama transition team’s Web site includes Power’s name as one of 14 members of the “Agency Review Team” for the State Department.

During the Democratic primary campaign, Power called Clinton “a monster” in an interview. She then resigned, calling her remarks inexcusable and contradictory to her admiration for Clinton.

Don’t forget; he never associated with Bill Ayers, or sat in the pew when the Reverend Wright was spouting off his anti-white, anti-American bullshit too.

I stumbled on this nugget over at Blackfive.

The left is already claiming Obama won Iraq, or will. Obama didn’t do shit in regards to the war in Iraq, other than be one of the pantywaist assholes that couldn’t find it within himself to support the troops. Your votes will not be forgotten asshole.

Un-fucking believable. The only thing the fucking Democrats did was lose face with their constant caterwauling about quitting Iraq and losing the war. Not once did I hear a Democrat step up and praise the troops for their constant vigilance and fortitude for winning this war. That’s right assholes, America won the war in Iraq. You have no right to claim it as your victory either.

That is the Iraq that Obama is inheriting. It is an Iraq where we have to begin drawing down our troops — because the occupation has gone on too long and because we have now committed to do so by treaty — but it is also an Iraq that has the potential to eventually tilt the Arab-Muslim world in a different direction.

I’m sure that Obama, whatever he said during the campaign, will play this smart. He has to avoid giving Iraqi leaders the feeling that Bush did — that he’ll wait forever for them to sort out their politics — while also not suggesting that he is leaving tomorrow, so they all start stockpiling weapons.

If he can pull this off, and help that decent Iraq take root, Obama and the Democrats could not only end the Iraq war but salvage something positive from it. Nothing would do more to enhance the Democratic Party’s national security credentials than that.but I will resist with every fiber of my ability the shameful attempts to give Obama and the Democrats anything other than disgust at their attempts to lose the war in Iraq.

Where’s the change O’Liar to the people?

It’s Clinton-Bush!

Wake up and smell the foreign policy! Big day for the incoming Clinton-Bush administration as POTUS-elect Obama Rodham Bush 3 announces the national security team he campaigned against. Roundup:

NYT, hopefully: Change is coming. Hawks have embraced a shift in priorities. Bushian warmongers, Monster join Kumbayah chorus, commit to pie in the sky, determined to find out why they hate us. Unclear whether budgetary demands of killing jihadis, chicken-in-every-pottism will intervene; insists the Bushites weren’t so Bushy, except when Bush was Obamist; and mulls … will the Monster’s desire to serve her master’s will be constrained by reality? At least I think that’s what this Obamian gotchafest is trying to say.

Barnes at Weekly Standard: Is Obama a secret centrist?

His national security choices also underscore this point. Hillary Clinton benefits from not being John Kerry, who desperately wants to be secretary of state. And Obama owes Kerry for having lifted him from obscurity and made him keynote speaker at the 2004 Democratic convention. But knowing Kerry, Obama looked elsewhere and fastened on Clinton as his secretary of state.

And he makes right in the world…

What a load of bullshit. This comes from NewsBusters.org:

Everything good that happens is because of Barack Obama.  Everything bad is attributable to George Bush or Dick Cheney or Sarah Palin or some other Republican.  In keeping with these mainstream media-manufactured verities, USA Today’s Web site reports “President-elect Obama’s actions perk up stock market.”

Pardons are in order for Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. There is no other option that is fitting for these two men. It is an absolute travesty of justice that these two men were even charged with a crime while carrying out their duties to protect America from drug smugglers and other undesirables.

If President Bush doesn’t pardon them, any respect I had for him, will be gone.

I Beg Your Pardon, Mr. President

During his tenure as President of the United States, George W. Bush has been stingier with his constitutional authority to grant pardons than any chief executive since World War II.

As of November 24, with just under two months left in office, out of the thousands of people pleading for pardons, the president had only found 171 worthy of his mercy.

But it is not the number of pardons that should concern the American people. It is who gets these pardons and who does not. Many presidents have been criticized for controversial pardons. Abraham Lincoln pardoned a man who had been convicted of attempted bestiality because he found the man’s character to be “otherwise reputable.”

Bush Fails To Pardon Border Agents

Wed, 11/26/2008 – 15:56 — Judicial Watch Blog

A rapper serving a lengthy prison sentence for smuggling cocaine, an embezzler and a tax evader are among those thankful for presidential pardons and commutations this week while a pair of U.S. Border Patrol agents spend another Thanksgiving in prison for intercepting an illegal immigrant drug smuggler.

Once again President George W. Bush has pardoned or reduced the sentences of serious criminals while the veteran federal agents— Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean—rot in jail for doing their job. The men intercepted a van loaded with drugs while guarding the Mexican border near El Paso in 2005. The admitted drug smuggler, an illegal alien named Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila, tried to flee and one of the agents shot him in the buttocks though he still got away.

Ramos and Compean were subsequently convicted on charges of causing serious bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon, discharge of a firearm and violating the drug smuggler’s civil rights. The agents were sentenced to 11 and 12-year prison terms, outraging dozens of lawmakers from both parties who have pushed for pardons.
