That didn’t take long. Even Carter waited a little longer than this.

Teh One has deemed that he can squeeze half a billion dollars out of the system by screwing the Veterans. You sir, are THE MOST despicable piece of shit on the planet. Any hope of me giving you any slack what so ever, has now disappeared into the dustbin.

What am I talking about? Well how’s this grab you:

The American Legion Strongly Opposed to President’s Plan to Charge Wounded Heroes for Treatment

WASHINGTON, March 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The leader of the nation’s largest veterans organization says he is “deeply disappointed and concerned” after a meeting with President Obama today to discuss a proposal to force private insurance companies to pay for the treatment of military veterans who have suffered service-connected disabilities and injuries. The Obama administration recently revealed a plan to require private insurance carriers to reimburse the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in such cases.

Michael Steele is in over his head, and is wrong on the issues. The Republican Party is in deep shit and there is no leader to right the ship. Steele needs to be replaced ASAP if the Party wants to succeed again.

Star Parker lays out the particulars…

Time for Steele to go as RNC chair

by Star Parker

From what I see, the Republican National Committee representatives who picked Michael Steele as their new chairman made a mistake. I think Steele ought to step aside.

It pains me to say it. But it pains me more to watch the opposition party, the Republican Party, spin aimlessly and leaderless, while the Obama administration shreds to pieces, with ruthless focus and discipline, everything that this country stands for.

Yes, of course, the defining moment for me is the recent GQ magazine interview in which Steele sounds more like a Democrat than a Republican. Does a woman have a right to choose abortion? “Yeah. Absolutely.” Is homosexual behavior something an individual can choose? “It’s like saying, ‘Tomorrow morning I’m gonna stop being black.'”

Obama, Kruschev, and Limbaugh

by Burt Prelutsky

When the Democrats took James Carville’s advice to attack Rush Limbaugh, it made perfect sense. Some people thought it was intended to distract us from the fact that Obama was spending money faster than the Monopoly Company could print it. I, on the other hand, believed it was setting us up for the passage of the so-called Fairness Doctrine. But in either case, it was a good strategy because, however you feel about Mr. Limbaugh, he rather closely resembles the way editorial cartoonists used to depict evil, over-fed, cigar-smoking capitalists.

The thing is, Limbaugh would never deny being a capitalist. However, those on the left who support Obama’s desire to redistribute wealth by bleeding the wealthy and nationalizing every damn thing he can lay his hands on, have a major hissy fit anytime you call them socialists or communists.

Here’s a few on the stem cell issue:

Using Embryos … Without Limit?

by Charles Krauthammer

WASHINGTON — Last week, the White House invited me to a signing ceremony overturning the Bush (43) executive order on stem cell research. I assume this was because I have long argued in these columns and during my five years on the President’s Council on Bioethics that, contrary to the Bush policy, federal funding should be extended to research on embryonic stem cell lines derived from discarded embryos in fertility clinics.

I declined to attend. Once you show your face at these things you become a tacit endorser of whatever they spring. My caution was vindicated.

Science Without Limits

by Ken Connor

On Monday President Obama issued an executive order, removing the restrictions on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research (ESCR) instituted by former-President Bush.  ESCR has provoked great controversy because it necessarily involves the destruction of nascent human life.  Two alternative methods of stem cell research have seen great success and are free from ethical controversy, but Obama chose to ignore both ethics and pragmatism in his misguided commitment to support embryonic stem cell research with taxpayer money.

Obama’s Stem Cell Disgrace

by Guy Benson

With a great deal of fanfare, President Obama signed an executive order on stem cell research last week. The most controversial element of his new directive is a short, harmless-looking clause that you probably haven’t heard about. People on all sides of the stem cell controversy should call this particular decision what it is: A disgrace.

Obama’s Embryonic Stem Cell OK Can Kill
By Michael Reagan

What President Obama did when he reversed President Bush’s executive order banning embryonic stem cell research was based not on solid science, but his desire to cater to the anti-life, pro-abortion forces and their media allies who helped elect him.

In doing this, he created the potential for an outbreak of potentially fatal cancerous tumors caused by the therapeutic use of embryonic stem cells.

Moreover, he killed another Bush presidential order that funded some of the most promising research on the creation of embryonic-like stem cells from harmless but potent adult stem cells.
