Government aid to the states. Money collected in the very states that need it feed the government trough; just to be sent back to the states as aid. I’m from the gubmint and I’m here to help…

More Misleading Monetary MSM Memes
This morning, this headline appeared on the front page of USA Today, “Federal aid is top revenue for states”.
I wonder how many of my fellow citizens read that and absently nodded approval while sipping their coffee or crossed their fingers hopefully while scanning the “Help Wanted” ads?
The problems with the headline and with the flavor of the article itself are legion.
