If you aren’t scared of the direction that America is taking with this liberal ideology, you need to have your head examined.
I am afraid that the 20 years I spent in the Army defending the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies foreign and domestic has been for naught. I will continue to uphold that oath, even if it means the tree of liberty needs to be refreshed, as it were. I won’t stand by and let America become a clone of the Soviet Union, or the European Union. Neither of those two choices work for me. If that is what you desire, move to those respective countries that you so admire and leave mine the hell alone.
On another scary note, the shitty state of Massachusetts is a thorn in America’s side in lieu of being at the center of the creation of this great nation, they’re likely to be the ones to be pivotal in its undoing.
Senatorial folly
By David Fennell
The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each state, chosen by the legislature thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote.
~Article I, Section 3 of the United States Constitution ~
Through the chance of history and some political maneuvering, the fate of ObamaCare could fall upon the decision of a single man who has never been elected to national office. If the circumstances weren’t so serious it would be a comedy of errors that leads us to where we are today.

In all due respect, you are probably overreacting a bit. I am please to see you will continue to uphold your oath – because to do otherwise is truly anarchy.
There are plenty of people who disagree with you and may even have a more liberal agenda than you – but I think you would find most of them to be loyal and patriotic Americans just like yourself. I blogged on something similar just today, in fact:

You might also be interested to know that despite my liberal bent I agree with you completely on Massachusetts:

See – liberals can disagree with you and still have American values.

I don’t have a major issue with your run of the mill liberal Democrat. I have a problem with the “progressive” types that espouse Marxism and try to pretend it is something that it is not.
In my opinion, the entire Congress needs to be fired. If that happens, maybe, just maybe, the America I grew up in and defended will survive to see another 200 years.
Thanks for dropping by.
