Quote of the day:

“To return to the canine metaphor: It’s the height of folly to think that other nations won’t be doing everything they can to make President Obama their bitch.”

Did We Elect a Beta Male As President?
By Greg Lewis

We’re all somewhat familiar with the body language dogs display when they greet each other. The dominant alpha male approaches directly, asserting his authority, while the beta male genuflects, crouches, tucks his tail, and may even end up on his back, exposing his neck in acquiescence, making sure the alpha male knows he has no intention of challenging him. With his “we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist” opening to the world’s dictators, the President is exhibiting classic beta male behavior, in essence rolling over on his back and exposing his throat to them to make sure they know he has no intention of challenging their authority.

When are they going to stop trying to shove this bullshit down our throats? I personally am sick of it. AGW is a lie created to make morons on the left money from saps that believe this crap. There is way too much evidence that refutes AGW.  They keep going back to the crap that has already been refuted as a ruse. Pathetic.

UN Climate Reports: They Lie
By Marc Sheppard

For years, claims that UN climate reports represent the consensus of the majority of international scientists have been mindlessly accepted and regurgitated by left-leaning policy makers and the media at large.  But in the past week or so, it’s become more apparent than ever that those who’ve accused the international organization of politicizing science and manipulating data have been right all along.

This latest disclosure again concerns what has become the favorite propaganda propagation tool of climate activists — the infamous “Hockey Stick Graph.” The familiar reconstruction, which deceitfully depicts last millennium’s global temperatures as flat prior to a dramatic upturn last century, has been displayed and touted ad nauseum as irrefutable proof of unprecedented and, therefore, anthropogenic, global warming (AGW).

Damned if you do, more damned if you don’t. Not a very good way to run a business. Did I say business? Why yes. Yes I did. Health care providers, namely doctors, are in reality, a business. One that you can pay for as needed. Health insurance helps offset the costs involved with treatment, but it is still a business.

Health care rationing is usually done by the patients themselves. If it is something minor, you tend to take some motrin and move on. If there is universal coverage of heath care, then people start going to the health care providers for the minor crap. Costs increase. Providers are now less available for the major things that come along, or they triage and ignore the less ill persons and treat the more sick patients first. Similar to the emergency room. If you ain’t dying, you ain’t getting seen any time soon.

Looking at it in current terms, Medicare, is a nationalized system of health care. Doctors can and often do, opt out of Medicare because they aren’t reimbursed sufficiently to cover their costs. The number is of doctors opting out is increasing.

Now the morons in the Senate, you should read that as Democrats, and RINOs, are trying to make Medicare even more painful for doctors. Let’s cut their reimbursement by 5% if they are in the top 10% of providers that have high costs.

This opens a multitude of problems.

Doctors: Damned If They Do, More Damned If They Don’t
By
Gene Schwimmer

Americans worried that Obamacare will lead to de facto rationing of health care to senior citizens can stop worrying.  It’s already here.  Obviously, the fewer doctors willing to treat Medicare patients, the fewer the opportunities to get treated and with each passing year, the number of such doctors decreases.

Hey! Are you morons in the government paying attention? Obviously not. You idiots keep trying to shove this shit down our throats. No means no!

Poll of the Week: Gallup Poll on Personal Responsibility on the issue of health care
By John Hanlon

Firstly, the article about the Gallup poll began with an important revelation: “In a recent Gallup survey, 89% of Republicans, 64% of independents, and 61% of Americans overall say Americans themselves — rather than the government — have the primary responsibility for ensuring that they have health insurance.” That poll should be encouraging to conservatives who have argued with liberals who point to other polls that show the “dramatic” public support for a government option. That support might be overemphasized by those advocating for a public option. In an important passage of the Gallup article, the writer noted that polls existed that did, in fact, show support for a public option but some of those polls, including a Fox News poll and a New York Times/CBS news poll, are missing an important option in the question that they ask. As the Gallup article noted, “Other national polls on this topic have found a higher degree of public support for government involvement in guaranteeing healthcare coverage, but those question wordings do not provide a non-governmental alternative.”
