And they’ve already uncovered election fraud for this go around. Vote early, vote often. And get your felons to vote too while you’re at it. Voter ID laws are necessary to protect the citizens of this country. The Democrats cry and whine whenever it’s brought up because they’ll lose votes from those that are ineligible to vote if ID is required.

In a case that illustrates the need for stricter laws to clean up the election process, nearly a dozen convicted felons have been charged with voter fraud for lying on registration forms during the 2008 presidential campaign.

The crimes took place in Virginia, where ironically Democratic lawmakers opposing a voter ID law recently contended there was no evidence of election fraud in their state. Like their party’s national leaders and other assorted liberals, Virginia Dems claim such measures discriminate against minorities.

For instance, the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, refers to voter ID laws as a “full-scale assault” on minority voters designed to “rig” elections for Republicans. This absurd theory is based on the fact that minorities are either too poor or too ignorant to get a valid identification—provided free in many of the states that have passed voter ID laws—that proves they are who they claim to be. This will prevent a chunk of citizens that would normally vote Democrat to cast ballots, the thinking goes.

That’s why the Department of Justice DOJ, the president’s political tool, is challenging voter ID laws—like one already upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court—around the country. Eight stateshave strict laws that require a voter to provide picture identification in order to cast a ballot. All but two of the states—Georgia and Indiana—passed their measures in 2011. Currently, the DOJ is pursuing discrimination probes against ID laws in Kansas, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Mississippi.

A little funny for your Thursday…

I was in a pub on Saturday night. Had a few drinks….

I noticed two large women by the bar.

They both had strong accents so I asked, “Hey, are you two ladies from Scotland?”

One of them chirped: “It’s WALES you friggin’ idiot!”

So, I immediately apologized and said, “Sorry, are you two whales from Scotland?”

Then the lights went out….

This is a good article. There are folks that are fighting back against the liberal douche bags and liberal terrorists in this country. Have hope. We still outnumber them.

Here’s a good look at what Mark Stevens, a businessman from New York, did when threatened by the terrorists from Media Matters and Moron.org.

I think that I will now reference the libtards as terrorists. It fits, so I’ll stick with it.

Mark Stevens: A Profile in Courage

By Jeffrey Lord

Threatened for sticking with Rush, defiant advertiser declares “Battle for America.”

In whatever arena of life one may meet the challenge of his conscience — the loss of his friends, his fortune, his contentment, even the esteem of his fellow men — each man must decide for himself the course he will follow. The stories of past courage can define that ingredient — they can teach, they can offer hope, they can provide inspiration. But they cannot supply courage itself. For this each man must look into his own soul.

— John F. Kennedy in Profiles in Courage

Mark Stevens was 17 years old when his father died.

A self-described “lower middle class” rebellious kid from Queens, when Mark went about the task of ordering his father’s affairs, he discovered his father’s bank account — containing $84. He was told that his best option was “to go on welfare.”

Marks Stevens had another idea. Said Stevens in an interview with The American Spectator: “I knew then at 17 I wasn’t going on welfare.” If Mark was going to achieve anything in life, he would have to be responsible for making that happen.

He made it happen.

So, get caught saying something stupid, try and walk it back with lies. Sounds about par for the course with this Administration.

White House in damage control over Obama Supreme Court remarks

(Reuters) – The White House was forced on the defensive on Wednesday as it sought to explain controversial remarks President Barack Obama made earlier in the week about the Supreme Court’s review of his signature healthcare reform law.

“What he did was make an unremarkable observation about 80 years of Supreme Court history,” Carney told reporters during a White House briefing dominated by the topic.

Obama expressed confidence on Monday that the Court would not take an “unprecedented, extraordinary step” by overturning the law, provoking a storm of protest that he had been inaccurate and was challenging the nation’s top judges in an election year.

The Supreme Court could decide to reject his Affordable Care Act to expand health insurance to millions of Americans, striking down a key achievement of his presidency and potentially harming Obama’s bid for re-election on Nov. 6.
