New York Woman Arrested For Striking Cop In Forehead With Pink Sex Toy

An upstate New York woman was arrested early today after she allegedly threw a pink sex toy at a cop, who was struck in the forehead by the foot-long device.

Lisa Anderson, 47, was booked on a harassment charge after a Watertown Police Department patrolman was dispatched to a residence in response to a call about an unwanted visitor.

While answering the 3 AM call, Officer Jonathan Pitts encountered Anderson on the fourth floor of a State Street apartment building. It was there that Anderson allegedly struck Pitts in the head with the sex toy. The cop was apparently not injured.

Since my first two articles on the Trayvon Martin case (available in the SMM Trayvon Martin Case archive), the most momentous development has been the bond hearing.  I will not go into detail on every aspect of that hearing as it has received blanket coverage elsewhere.  Among the most competent voices covering this hearing (and the rest of the Martin case) are Just One Minute and my former Confederate Yankee (now closed to all but archival access) co-blogger, Bob Owens.  By all means, take a moment to take the links and review their work on the hearing.  I’ll focus instead on the testimony of the hearing and what it reveals, particularly about the prosecution’s case and the competence of its team.

  Since the Fast and Furious scandal first burst onto the scene Mexico has denied any knowledge of the deadly scandal but one question remained unanswered; why has the Mexican government remained silent on an international scandal which led to the deaths of hundreds of her citizens, a scandal which could be considered an act of war?

  The answer to that question might just be found in Katie Pavlich’s new book on Fast and Furious, from page 111:

In the righteous shooting department, we have grandma kicking some ass on, not one, but two assholes that tried to rob her and shoot her.

Granny was a better shot.

Georgia Grandmother Foils Robbery By Getting Into Shootout With Suspects

MACON, Ga. (CBS Atlanta/AP) – Authorities in Georgia say a grandmother foiled a robbery attempt by two armed men by getting into a shootout with them, injuring one man.

Police told The Telegraph that Lulu Campbell just dropped off her grandson at her daughter’s house early Saturday morning when someone demanded money outside her car, threatening to shoot her.

“(The suspect) shouted, ‘Give me the (blanking) money and open the (blanking) door!’” Campbell told The Telegraph, describing her ordeal. “I said, ‘Oh my God, somebody is going to rob me.’ I said, ‘Baby, you’re going to kill me anyway, so I don’t have to open it!’”

Campbell says the man fired at her, missing. The 57-year-old fired back, striking him in the chest. Her truck sustained eight bullet holes in the hood, one in the grill. Both front side windows were destroyed. The second man fled after she shot at him.
