…is easy to find, but this one takes the dumb shit prize.

What a fucking moron.

Only a moron can make the connection that a tornado was caused by global warming.

They did the same shit when it was global cooling that was going to destroy the world.

Flashback 1975: Outbreaks Blamed On Global COOLING…

Democratic Senator uses Okla. tornado for anti-GOP rant over global warming

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming.

Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters.

…it’s not going to after it’s passed, just like the last amnesty boondoggle that was passed in 1986. The ONLY thing it does is give at least 11 million people who broke our laws amnesty for the privilege of doing so, for no other reason than to give the Democrats another permanent voting block that could change the way this country goes forward, or in the liberal case, assbackwards.

I fear that this country will lose any pretense of freedom under Democrats, and the sheeple will just fall in line and let it happen.

This farce of a bill must be stopped dead in its tracks. If the border is not enforced first and foremost, then this sham of “immigration reform” will just open the floodgates for more people and will be rife with fraud from the word go. It’s a failure before it even starts. And don’t tell me it’s for the children. That fucking line of bullshit doesn’t fly with me.

Morning Bell: Immigration Bill Doesn’t Secure the Border

Must Washington fix our broken southern border? You bet.

Will the comprehensive immigration reform bill help? You bet it won’t.

The number one flaw of the bill is it starts by giving amnesty to the unlawfully present population in the United States. As soon as the bill passes, those in the country contrary to U.S. immigration law are granted status to stay.

Amnesty immediately creates an incentive for illegal border crossings and overstays. Thus, the bill’s strategy would drive up the cost of securing the border. To make matters worse, the draft law states that anyone who was present in the U.S. before 2012 qualifies—creating massive opportunity for fraud, since there is no proof required that applicants have been here for several years.

While supporters of the bill trumpet its “border security” features, in reality, the law delivers nothing new—other than the promise of spending a lot more money and running up our debt.

…and anyone with a brain can figure this out. I guess that leaves out liberal idiots. Here’s a report that comes from the Congressional Research Service basically stating the obvious. At least to those of us who can use our brain housing group for something other than a hat rack.

It’s a failure before they even vote on it.

New Gun Laws Won’t Prevent Another Sandy Hook

There’s no guarantee new regulations will prevent another tragedy.

That’s the logical, if grim, conclusion to be drawn from a new Congressional Research Service Report on “Public Mass Shootings in the United States.” CRS strives to be studiously neutral, so they’re not going to put it quite like that.

Instead, the report’s authors say things like “the utility of widely employed preventive measures in these areas [law enforcement and public health] to fight public mass shootings is far from clear.”

As the Daily Beast’s Megan McCardle observed in December, “it is beyond horrible to suggest that even a small number of attacks are largely unavoidable. I don’t like saying it. Unfortunately, I think it’s true.” The tragic fact is, there’s not a great deal that public policy can do to avert spree shootings.

Still, it’s worth asking, as CRS does, “what are the parameters of this threat?” The report defines “public mass shootings” as incidents involving four or more deaths and “gunmen who select victims somewhat indiscriminately,” excluding drug trafficking, gang activity and terrorism.

…a procedural move that the House can use to stop some of the Senate’s shenanigans.

Good read. I learned something new about Congress just from reading this column.

Former Senate secretary says ‘blue slip’ may be a key to stopping gun bill

House Speaker John Boehner could defeat Senate efforts to enact “universal background check” legislation with a simple procedural maneuver, a former Senate insider says. Elizabeth Letchworth, who spent 26 years in the Senate, rising to United States Senate Officer having been elected as the Secretary for the Majority and United States Senate Secretary for the Minority, and who currently runs the GradeGov.com internet resource for rating and communicating with members of Congress, released a video where she claims “[T]he Speaker of the House can uphold the Constitution and block the gun control bill and immigration reform if he uses the blue slip process.

“Article 1, section 7 of the Constitution — this is the Origination Clause — says that all bills … dealing with …raising revenue must originate in the House of Representatives,” Letchworth continues.

If the House believes this has been violated, “they initiate what is called a ‘blue slip process,’” which is debated for one hour and then voted on, she elaborates.

…comes from an American Thinker article. It’s about the history that I watched. Senator Rand Paul has got a pair of balls that Congress hasn’t seen in decades. America will not tolerate a tyrant, nor will it tolerate the loss of freedom.

I stand with Rand!

The quote:

Rand advanced his strategic goal. The entire filibuster episode portrayed a radically different image of Barack Obama. Even among low information voters, Obama’s public image just took a serious hit. Instead of being the cool guy who loves you, Obama is now the tyrant who reserves the right to kill you any time he feels like it. On an emotional level, Rand Paul undid in one day years of spin about Obama.

This comes from Rand Paul Shifts Political Orbit.

Government by the people.

…exists in America.

You can thank Congress and Obama for taking away your freedom of speech and Obama signed this in secrecy.
It is time to rise up people. Why is the MSM not reporting on this?

They are taking away our rights one by one and then when they are all gone then what?
Are you going to be a sheep and go along with this shit?

It is time to fight back against the slow creeping destruction of our basic liberties.
Freedom is in the balance.

They sky is falling!

This crisis to crisis management that Obama and his minions are doing is really getting old. The propaganda machine of this Administration has been something to behold. Joseph Goebbels would be proud and envious.

Let the sequester happen. It’s the only way these idiots can cut any spending whatsoever, except by coercion. What an absolute failure in government.

The great overblown sequester panic
By RICH LOWRY

Prepare for the end of food safety as we have known it. For a breakdown in public order. For little children languishing in ignorance. If only Edward Gibbon were here to chronicle the devastation. On March 1, the fabric of our civilization begins to unwind.

That’s when the economy begins to stall and we turn our back on our values, all because the federal government will have to begin to cut a few tens of billions of dollars from the largest budget the world has ever known.

This is the lurid fairy tale spun by President Obama. In the fight over the sequester, he is resorting to the tried-and-true (and tiresome) strategy of every official confronted with unwelcome budget cuts, from the commander in chief to a lowly bureaucrat toiling at some school district: maximize the scaremongering and pain.

In fairty-tale terms, Obama is the princess and the sequester is the pea.

In fairty-tale terms, Obama is the princess and the sequester is the pea.

In Hans Christian Andersen terms, Obama is the princess and the sequester is the pea. Over the next 10 years, the sequester amounts to a $1.16 trillion cut, or roughly 3 cents on every federal dollar. If we can’t squeeze a couple of pennies out of every dollar, we might as well begin our great national bankruptcy proceedings right now.

Brave New World
By Victor Davis Hanson

The Revolutions We Missed

Sometimes societies just plod along, oblivious that the world is being reinvented right under their noses. In 2000, one never saw pedestrians bumping into themselves as they glued their noses to iPhones. Thirteen years later, it is almost rare to see anyone on the street who is not stumbling about, networking or texting. Yet most of us are scarcely aware of the collective effect of that odd habit repeating itself millions of times over each day, of millions of books not read, of “hellos” not offered, of brains wired to screens rather than the physical world about them. When cars once drifted into your lane, you assumed a DUI; now their drivers are most likely texting.

Cars, of course, look about the same as they did thirty years ago. But we just assume now that they almost never break down. Up until 1980 I used to see them with hoods up by the side of the road almost every five miles or so. Today, entire notions such as points, plugs, tune-ups, and carburetors have simply quietly passed away for most motorists. The old jalopy with 100,000 miles on it was junk; the new Accord with 150,000 miles has another easy 250,000 to go. The world changes while we snore.

…are rampant in the House and Senate. Nancy Pelosi being the biggest moron to ever hold a seat in the House, let alone to have been Speaker, is one of the worst. The liberal media isn’t helping because they let these idiots say whatever the hell they want without question.

The Republicans are just as culpable, if not more so.

Fail.

Spending Denialists and the Fiscal Illusion
The late economist James Buchanan predicted our current budgetary impasse. Is there a way out?
Matt Welch

Several weeks before the slow-motion “fiscal cliff” negotiation ended in a giveaway-rich, tax-hiking, 154-page spending bill that senators had all of six minutes to glance at before approving by an 89-8 vote in the wee hours of January 1, President Barack Obama reportedly told House Speaker John Boehner flat out: “We don’t have a spending problem.”

Boehner, in relaying the quote to The Wall Street Journal three days after the House of Representatives grudgingly ratified the Senate plan, expressed astonishment at the president’s words. But he shouldn’t have. Spending denialism—of the literal sort—has become a core progressive value in the age of Obama.

“Spending isn’t the problem,” Steve Benen wrote at Rachel Maddow’s blog in December. “We don’t have a spending problem. We have an aging problem,” seconded Mother Jones’s Kevin Drum in January. “We don’t have a spending problem, we have a military spending problem,” chimed in The Washington Post’s Ezra Klein.

Such confident consensus would be more convincing if not for the fact that federal spending rose from $1.77 trillion in fiscal year 2000 to $3.72 trillion in 2010. If spending growth had been pegged to the rates of inflation and population, Washington would still be doling out less than $3 trillion a year, and the fiscal conversation would be about surpluses, not debt ceilings.

…and his Veterans Gun Ban legislation. This turncoat traitorous piece of shit just got reelected on a platform supporting gun rights. Now that he suckered the West Virginians into voting for his sorry ass, he’s turning into a Democrat’s dream date. Fucking piece  of shit. Let him know how you feel and let your senators know how you feel on this issue. I have two of the WORST FUCKING SENATORS in America that represents (not) me, but I still tell those two idiots how I feel.

Let them hear you!

This is from Gun Owners of America.

Oppose Joe Manchin’s Veterans Gun Ban

and National Gun Registry

Reports out of Capitol Hill reveal that just-reelected turncoat West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin is about to stick a big knife in the back of American gun owners.  And to make matters worse, he’s lying about what he’s doing.

Both Manchin and House anti-gun crazy Carolyn McCarthy are claiming to be “working with NRA” to enact gun bans and national gun registries.  NRA says flatly that Manchin is lying, and we believe he is. (The Hill, 1/24/13)

Ironically, Manchin was the “gun owner’s best friend” on November 5 — the day before his reelection to a six-year term let him to pull a great big “gotcha” on those West Virginians who were tricked into believing his representations.

But make no mistake about it:  Joe Manchin’s draft would impose a gun ban on veterans and would set up the framework for a national gun registry.

150,000 honest law-abiding veterans are currently in the NICS system.  They didn’t do anything wrong; they honorably served their country.  But when they sought VA counseling for a traumatic combat experience, the VA appointed a fiduciary to oversee their fiscal affairs and then took away their guns.  And, again, there are 150,000 honest veterans in the system.

New York Senator Charles Schumer viciously fought a Coburn amendment on the DoD bill which would require that veterans get their day in court before their rights were taken away from them, and he won.

What the Manchin bill is about is insuring that “bad guys” like veterans can’t get guns.  And, under Barack Obama’s “Executive Action #1,” the NICS list could soon include tens of millions of additional soldiers, police, firemen, and other law-abiding Americans.

But veteran disarmament is not the only problem with Joe Manchin’s gun ban.

Manchin’s bill would set the framework for a national gun registry and impose a chokehold on gun sales.  There are at least four big reasons for this:

FIRST:  Every gun owner in the country would have a “Form 4473.”  Increasingly, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives are going into gun dealerships and illegally copying all of those 4473’s.

SECOND:  The FBI refuses to tell us how or whether it’s complying with federal law by destroying the Brady Check names, rather than keeping them for a national gun registry.

THIRD:  As it is, the Brady Check system is breaking down on days such as last year’s Black Friday — outlawing all gun purchases.  If you have to drive 200 miles from your farm to sell your gun to your neighbor, this effectively outlaws any efforts to sell or buy a gun.

FOURTH:  Increasingly, the FBI is blocking transfers because someone’s name is “similar” to someone else.  When the legal purchaser complains, the FBI’s response is “Sue us!”
