…is poised to destroy American jobs and force energy prices through the roof. If he is reelected, he’ll unleash the full list of job killing, energy spiking regulations that the EPA has held in check until after the election. You haven’t wondered why he hasn’t promised that global warming will end in his next term?
The EPA has got to be stopped! If Obama is reelected, then there is no hope for America’s future energy independence.

Obama’s EPA Plans for 2013
By S. Fred Singer

The November elections will determine the direction of US climate policy — and therefore also energy policy and the pace of economic growth: jobs, standards of living, budget deficits and inflation.  Obama has already promised to make climate change the centerpiece of his concern — with all that implies: “Green” energy policy, linked to loss of jobs (Keystone pipeline disapproval), rising gas prices (ethanol mandates), and crony capitalism (Solyndra).

By contrast, Romney is a climate skeptic — and Ryan has been quite outspoken: the perfect anti-Gore.  The science supports Romney-Ryan — notwithstanding the UN-IPCC, and the bulk of the climate scientists living high on the hog on government grants.

All of this emerged from campaign rhetoric — but it needs to be spelled out more clearly.  Note that Obama no longer promises to “heal the Earth and stop the rise of the oceans.”  He has also been uncharacteristically quiet about his efforts to “make electricity prices skyrocket.”  But there is more in store if he is re-elected and unleashes the full regulatory apparatus of the EPA.

…is not so rewarding apparently.
Here’s an essay from someone that recently left one of those “green” jobs that the liberals in this country are hell bent on forcing down everyone’s throats. It’s a fine example of liberal stupidity and the fact that green energy is for the detriment of man kind in order for it to prevail.

Pay particular attention to the costs associated with green energy vs. the traditional coal, and hydroelectricity.

I had a green job
By Deborah Sloan

Mitt Romney has recently taken fire not only from the Obama campaign but even from some left-leaning Republicans, for his rightful criticism of Obama’s destructive “green jobs” programs.  Not only is Mr. Romney right to criticize these programs — and his position supported by many economic studies — but in fact the situation is even worse than anything suggested by these criticisms. Green jobs are destroying the abilities and spirits of a whole generation of engineers. I should know. I was one of those engineers.

In 2008 I completed my Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford and took a “Green Job” with a solar company. Excitingly, it seemed to match the green rhetoric–to have potential to create the incredible value of cleaner, cheaper energy.

Unfortunately, the more I learned about my job and industry, the more I realized they were fundamentally flawed.

Management said we would be competitive with oil and gas once we manufactured panels for $1.00/watt. But as a mechanical engineer, I learned most of solar’s cost is not panels themselves but “balance of system” (BOS) components like DC to AC converters, wiring, and structural mounting, adding about $3.00/watt for a best-case total of $4.00/watt. Coal and hydroelectric systems cost as low as $2.10/watt and $1.00/watt, respectively. Ifound no evidence that solar’s BOS costs would decrease meaningfully.

…in North Las Vegas. Why is the government giving money to the green energy sector, when it is obviously a failing policy?

I ask myself that a lot about many of the things that government wastes our tax dollars on. But as long as the Senate is controlled by Democrats, shit like this is going to keep happening. Don’t get me wrong, there are RINOs that need to be purged as well.

This is yet another reason to go vote and fire every last one of these bastards and that includes the SCOAMF.

Amonix closes North Las Vegas solar plant after 14 months, heavy federal subsidies

By Hubble Smith
LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL

The Amonix solar manufacturing plant in North Las Vegas, subsidized by more than $20 million in federal tax credits and grants, has closed its 214,000-square-foot facility about a year after it opened.

Officials at Amonix headquarters in Seal Beach, Calif., have not responded to repeated calls for comment this week, but the company began selling equipment, from automated tooling systems to robotic welding cells, in an online auction Wednesday.

A designer and manufacturer of concentrated photovoltaic solar power systems, Amonix received $6 million in federal tax credits for the North Las Vegas plant and a $15.6 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy in 2007 for research and development.

Rene Kenerly, a former material and supply manager at Amonix, said the plant has been idle since May 1, when he was laid off. At its peak, the plant had about 700 employees working three shifts a day to produce solar panels for a utility in Amarosa, Colo., he said.

…is really what has been happening to the world, for the last 2000 years. Not global warming.

Funny how science always finds a way to contradict the global warming nutters out there, yet they cling to their religion anyway.  Funny shit that

Too bad the funny doesn’t last long since these nutters have cost America billions of dollars in loans to green companies that have proven to be an absolute waste of tax payer monies, as well as their charade of climate change initiatives that have no affect on the climate what so ever.  The only thing certain about the climate change morons and their agenda is that it will cost us more billions in taxes and other indirect costs before we are rid of their stupidity.

Tree-rings prove climate was WARMER in Roman and Medieval times than it is now – and world has been cooling for 2,000 years

Tree ring study gives first accurate climate reading back to 138BC
World has been slowly cooling for 2,000 years

Study of semi-fossilised trees in Finland

By Rob Waugh

Rings in fossilised pine trees have proven that the world was much warmer than previously thought – and the earth has been slowly COOLING for 2,000 years.

Measurements stretching back to 138BC prove that the Earth is slowly cooling due to changes in the distance between the Earth and the sun.

The finding may force scientists to rethink current theories of the impact of global warming.

It is the first time that researchers have been able to accurately measure trends in global temperature over the last two millennia.

Over that time, the world has been getting cooler – and previous estimates, used as the basis for current climate science, are wrong.

Their findings demonstrate that this trend involves a cooling of -0.3°C per millennium due to gradual changes to the position of the sun and an increase in the distance between the Earth and the sun.

And we have yet another green company fail that was given a “loan” from the Obummer Administration. Government isn’t the solution. It’s the antithesis of a solution.

Lights go dim on another energy project
Geothermal losses pile up

A geothermal energy company with a $98.5 million loan guarantee from the Obama administration for an alternative energy project in Nevada — which received hearty endorsements from Energy Secretary Steven Chu and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid — faces financial problems, and the company’s auditors have questioned whether it can stay in business.

Much like Solyndra LLC, a California solar-panel manufacturer with a $535 million federal loan guarantee that went bankrupt, Nevada Geothermal Power (NGP) has incurred $98 million in net losses over the past several years, has substantial debts and does not generate enough cash from its current operations after debt-service costs, an internal audit said.

“The company’s ability to continue as a going concern is dependent on its available cash and its ability to continue to raise funds to support corporate operations and the development of other properties,” NGP auditors said in a financial statement for the period ending March 31.

“Consequently, material uncertainties exist which cast significant doubt upon the company’s ability to continue as a going concern,” the statement said.

How’s that “hope and change” working out for you?

Not so well eh? Yeah, I thought so too.

It’s time to stop the government’s subsidizing of green energy. If that shit was viable, private enterprise would have been all over it a long time ago.

This is just another avenue for government to control you. Don’t believe their hype.

$9 Billion in ‘Stimulus’ for Solar, Wind Projects Made 910 Final Jobs — $9.8 Million Per Job

By Michael W. Chapman and Fred Lucas

(CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration distributed $9 billion in economic “stimulus” funds to solar and wind projects in 2009-11 that created, as the end result, 910 “direct” jobs — annual operation and maintenance positions — meaning that it cost about $9.8 million to establish each of those long-term jobs.

At the same time, those green energy projects also created, in the end, about 4,600 “indirect” jobs – positions indirectly supported by the annual operation and maintenance jobs — which means they cost about $1.9 million each ($9 billion divided by 4,600).

Combined (910 + 4,600 = 5,510), the direct and indirect jobs cost, on average, about $1.63 million each to produce.

Not so well.
Green energy is a load of bullshit.
Well, I guess that really isn’t green energy is it?

The loons on the left that think green energy is the way to go fail to realize that wind and solar power doesn’t create the energy needed to support modern life. In other words, your fucking IPad isn’t going to run on wind power. Neither are the farms of servers that you are trying to gain access through to your favorite porn site.
You need energy that is reliable, cheap, and can be used at the flip of a switch. Wind and solar need acres of area to produce anything viable, and even that is a fraction of what the consumers would need.

Green Welfare, Green Taxes, Green Poverty

By Peter Ferrara

The road to hell is paved with Obama’s Green intentions.

What would you do if gangs of robbers roamed your neighborhood at night, breaking into your neighbors’ houses and stealing their family jewels and life savings? You would arm yourself, and your family members of sufficient age, to defend your property. Or you would move to a safer neighborhood.

But if the robbers formed gangs called Greenpeace, the Sierra Club, or the Natural Resources Defense Fund, and assaulted your standard of living, the Che Guevara Democrats expect you to greet them with open arms, and gleefully turn over bushels of your cash, until your life savings is gone, and your standard of living has been reduced to the level of Argentina.

That third world destination is where Obama’s “green energy” economic strategy is taking America, all while he tells us sweet fairy tales about how this path is the road to 21st century prosperity.

Australians Face Huge Fines For Speaking Ill Of New Carbon Tax

The tax whose name cannot be spoken

Praised by Barack Obama as a model for the world, Australia’s highly unpopular carbon tax, set to take effect from July 1st, is set to be policed by laws which forbid business owners from criticizing it for causing price rises – with thought criminals who do so under threat of being hit with huge fines of over $1 million dollars.

“SHOPS and restaurants could face fines up to $1.1 million if waiters or sales staff wrongly blame the carbon tax for price rises or exaggerate the impact,” reports the Daily Telegraph.

According to ACCC deputy chairman Dr Michael Schaper, the warning applies, “to comments made by staff over the phone, on the shop floor or in meetings. It also covers advertising, product labels, websites, invoices, contracts and contract negotiations.”

This draconian measure will be enforced by teams of “carbon cops” who roam the streets conducting snap inspections of businesses to ensure they are not making any reference to the tax.

The characterization of dissent against the carbon tax as a criminal offense exemplifies how the measure passed last year goes way beyond merely forcing Australia’s top 500 companies to pay an extra $23.78 per each tonne of CO2 emitted. The system will be rolled into a carbon trading system by 2015.

Looks like the global warming nutters are losing their minds. I think it’s hilarious on the one hand, and scary on the other. The hilarity comes from their rhetoric and how over the top and bloviated that it is. The scary part is the fact that the shitheads that espouse global warming and are now screaming to raze peoples homes that care to go against their spin on things, actually work for the government!

Well, I have this to say to you shitheads on the left that think like this government  buffoon. Bring it on.

You’re losing the argument on every front, and all you have now are lies and threats.

I love global warming! It’s the best thing to happen to mankind, EVER!

Global Warming Crusaders Lose Steam, Tempers

By Matt Patterson May 06, 2012

Eco-warriors are losing the public relations battle on global warming — and it’s driving them batty.

Take environmental writer Steve Zwick. Writing for Forbes.com, Zwick has called on so-called “climate deniers” to be treated like virtual war criminals: “We know who the active denialists are–not the people who buy the lies, mind you, but the people who create the lies,” he writes. “Let’s start keeping track of them now, and when the famines come, let’s make them pay. Let’s let their houses burn until the innocent are rescued. Let’s swap their safe land for submerged islands. Let’s force them to bear the cost of rising food prices. They broke the climate. Why should the rest of us have to pay for it?”

Those who disagree with him are not merely mistaken, they are malevolent, unworthy even of persuasion through honest debate. Instead, “denialists” deserve only to have their homes razed.

This is becoming a more and more common feature of environmentalist rhetoric. The violent imagery has even seeped into the pronouncements of the eco-priests at the Environmental Protection Agency. Recently, a video surfaced of EPA Region VI Administrator Al Armendariz admitting that his agency’s philosophy is to “crucify” oil and gas companies: “It was kind of like how the Romans used to, you know, conquer villages in the Mediterranean. They’d go in to a little Turkish town somewhere, they’d find the first five guys they saw and they’d crucify them. Then, you know, that town was really easy to manage for the next few years.”

I love global warming. Cold weather sucks.

As predictions fail to materialize, goodbye, junk science

How tough are times for adherents to the theory that global warming is going to kill us all?

James Lovelock just admitted this week that he does not know what the climate will do.

Lovelock is the godfather of global warming.

Losing him comes after three major discoveries announced this month that refute several gloom-and-doom predictions.

Officials in Canada discovered more polar bears than they thought they had. The reason polar bears are thinner and heading south is classic overpopulation, not melting ice.

The second revelation is that we have twice as many Emperor penguins along the coast of Antarctica as we thought. Using satellite pictures, scientists counted nearly 600,000 penguins in 44 colonies, including seven previously unknown colonies.

The third revelation is that far from disappearing by 2035, the glaciers of the Himalaya Mountains are stable and expanding in some areas.
