Another slap in the face for the SCOAMF. The southern Democrats don’t play well with the Chicago political stylings of O-douche nozzle. They aren’t the typical left coast variety of Teh Gay/mentally disabled variety that we have out here either, and they actually pay attention to politics. Sounds like there’s trouble in paradise.

Barack Obama’s Arkansas primary problem

Posted by Chris Cillizza and Aaron Blake

Two weeks after an imprisoned felon received 41 percent of the vote against President Obama in West Virginia’s presidential primary, Arkansas could provide another potential embarrassment for the incumbent.

That’s because only Obama and John Wolfe, a Tennessee lawyer, are on the Democratic presidential primary ballot in the Razorback State. (Wolfe took 12 percent — and nearly 18,000 votes — in a four-way fight in the Louisiana Democratic presidential primary in late March.) And a recent independent poll showed Obama running just seven points ahead of Wolfe in the southern Arkansas 4th district, which covers one-quarter of the state.

All of this takes place on a backdrop that is decidedly less than friendly for Obama. Even while he was sweeping to a national victory (and 365 electoral votes) in 2008, Obama received just 39 percent in Arkansas — six points worse than Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry did four years earlier.

“Arkansas voters are informed voters and are fully aware that John Wolfe will not make it out of the primary,” said one well-connected Arkansas Democrat. “However, if John Wolfe has a strong showing tomorrow, it’s a sign that Democratic voters in Arkansas are frustrated with the administration’s policies and further reiteration that Southern Democrats simply cannot identify with President Obama.”

This shit is so rampant in the media, it should be illegal to call yourself the media with this outright bias.

It’s no wonder Teh Won, took the office in 2008. They’re hoping you’re still blind to their bullshit.

Real AP Headline: “Is GOP trying to sabotage economy to hurt Obama?”

The media has two modes of bias:

If something that hurts Obama can be spun in such a way as to negate its impact, they may report it– with the spin, of course.

If something that hurts Obama is impossible to spin, then they ignore it entirely and hope no one hears about it, or that anyone who hears about it takes the press’ silence as meaning the story has been debunked.

For example: The fact that Wright says an Obama crony offered him $150,000 to stop preaching until after the 2008 election. It can’t be spun, so it simply gets embargoed.

The economy is a tricky thing for the press– they can’t ignore it, since it is on everyone’s mind. Which means they’ll have to spin it– even if such spin is sort of absurd.

With that in mind:

Is GOP trying to sabotage economy to hurt Obama?

By CHARLES BABINGTON | Associated Press – Sat, May 19, 2012

WASHINGTON (AP) — Are Republican lawmakers deliberately stalling the economic recovery to hurt President Barack Obama’s re-election chances? Some top Democrats say yes, pointing to GOP stances on the debt limit and other issues that they claim are causing unnecessary economic anxiety and retarding growth.

The latest Democratic complaint came after House Speaker John Boehner said Tuesday that when Congress raises the nation’s borrowing cap in early 2013, he will again insist on big spending cuts to offset the increase. Boehner, R-Ohio, continues to reject higher tax rates, which Democrats demand from the wealthy.

That led Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., to say Boehner is virtually assuring another debt-ceiling crisis as bad or worse than the one that shook financial markets nine months ago.

This is welcome news. Let’s hope that this law is permanently blocked.

Military Detention Law Blocked by New York Judge

Opponents of a U.S. law they claim may subject them to indefinite military detention for activities including news reporting and political activism persuaded a federal judge to temporarily block the measure.

U.S. District Judge Katherine Forrest in Manhattan yesterday ruled in favor of a group of writers and activists who sued President Barack Obama, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and the Defense Department, claiming a provision of the National Defense Authorization Act, signed into law Dec. 31, puts them in fear that they could be arrested and held by U.S. armed forces.

The complaint was filed Jan. 13 by a group including former New York Times reporter Christopher Hedges. The plaintiffs contend a section of the law allows for detention of citizens and permanent residents taken into custody in the U.S. on “suspicion of providing substantial support” to people engaged in hostilities against the U.S., such as al-Qaeda.

“The statute at issue places the public at undue risk of having their speech chilled for the purported protection from al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and ‘associated forces’ – i.e., ‘foreign terrorist organizations,’” Forrest said in an opinion yesterday. “The vagueness of Section 1021 does not allow the average citizen, or even the government itself, to understand with the type of definiteness to which our citizens are entitled, or what conduct comes within its scope.”

Another great cartoon at Day By Day.

More racial violence. Black on white attack. Again. Where’s the outrage? All I hear is crickets chirping. Media silent. NAACP silent. Congressional Black Caucus silent. Hollywood silent. Pathetic.

Where’s Obama on this one? AWOL as usual. I guess this guy wouldn’t look like his son, so nothing from the SCOAMF on this one.

Man Beaten By Mob, In Critical Condition

MOBILE, Alabama —

Mobile police need your help to catch a mob that beat Matthew Owens so badly that he’s in critical condition.

According to police, Owens fussed at some kids playing basketball in the middle of Delmar Drive about 8:30 Saturday night. They say the kids left and a group of adults returned, armed with everything but the kitchen sink.

Police tell News 5 the suspects used chairs, pipes and paint cans to beat Owens.

Owens’ sister, Ashley Parker, saw the attack. “It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed.” Parker says 20 people, all African American, attacked her brother on the front porch of his home, using “brass buckles, paint cans and anything they could get their hands on.”

Time to get out there and do your duty. Yes, duty.

“Duty then is the sublimest word in the English language. You should do your duty in all things. You can never do more, you should never wish to do less.” – Robert E. Lee

Make the left know you’re on to them and you aren’t going to sit idly by and take their bullshit anymore. We are still the majority, we just have to get out there and prove it. Vote. Even if you don’t like the SOB the GOP puts out there, he is way better than the current occupier in the White House, a.k.a. SCOAMF.

The Tea Party Call to Duty

By Sally Zelikovsky

At the time of America’s founding, the notion of civic duty was commonplace. Our entire system was predicated on the idea that citizens would take an active role in the governance of their towns, states, and country. Little was asked of Americans other than self-governance, jury duty, fighting wars when necessary, protecting the homeland, and living by the rule of law. In time, Americans were additionally “asked” to forfeit a portion of the fruits of their labor to foot the bills the government would incur.

Over the years, we have handed off most of our self-governing and civic duties to others. As the Founders anticipated, we elect town council members and state and federal legislators to “represent” us. But all too often, we leave the voting booth, brush our hands together, and go back to our normal lives thinking we are done…until the next election. In the meantime, we relinquish considerable power and control over our lives to the very people who are supposed to be working for us.

We have so completely shirked our personal and civic responsibilities that we have inadvertently created a class of professional politicians. With the economic and personal stakes being so high for these professional politicians, the legislation they enact is often compromised, and their re-election campaigns are motivated more by what’s good for the incumbent than by what’s good for the People.

Paul Ryan once again, all over it.
The Democrat Senate has not proposed a budget in THREE YEARS! Where’s the outrage? That’s their fucking job.

Under Obama, we will go bankrupt.

Does this really surprise anyone? Not me. And if he’s reelected, then what? You liberal shit bags can’t keep covering up the SCOAMF’s screw ups. Some moron in the comments earlier said it was racist to point out the SCOAMF’s declining poll numbers.

National Debt has increased more under Obama than under Bush

By Mark Knoller

CBS News The National Debt has now increased more during President Obama’s three years and two months in office than it did during 8 years of the George W. Bush presidency.

The Debt rose $4.899 trillion during the two terms of the Bush presidency. It has now gone up $4.939 trillion since President Obama took office.

The latest posting from the Bureau of Public Debt at the Treasury Department shows the National Debt now stands at $15.566 trillion. It was $10.626 trillion on President Bush’s last day in office, which coincided with President Obama’s first day.

The National Debt also now exceeds 100% of the nation’s Gross Domestic Product, the total value of goods and services.

Mr. Obama has been quick to blame his predecessor for the soaring Debt, saying Mr. Bush paid for two wars and a Medicare prescription drug program with borrowed funds.

The federal budget sent to Congress last month by Mr. Obama, projects the National Debt will continue to rise as far as the eye can see. The budget shows the Debt hitting $16.3 trillion in 2012, $17.5 trillion in 2013 and $25.9 trillion in 2022.

Federal budget records show the National Debt once topped 121% of GDP at the end of World War II. The Debt that year, 1946, was, by today’s standards, a mere $270 billion dollars.

Mr. Obama doesn’t mention the National Debt much, though he does want to be seen trying to reduce the annual budget deficit, though it’s topped a trillion dollars for four years now.

Senator Feinstein is a typical Democrat. See corruption, look the other way, unless it can damage the Republican Party. Doesn’t fit the narrative otherwise.

Holder needs to be impeached. Obama needs to be impeached. Looks like Feinstein should be as well.

Fire them all.

Veteran agent: Feinstein did not act on ATF abuse, corruption evidence

Senator Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., was informed of management corruption and abuse issues at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) before allegations of “gunwalking” surfaced, but opted to do nothing about it. That allegation comes from veteran Special Agent Vince Cefalu, who recently informed Gun Rights Examiner of his efforts to persuade the powerful Democrat to investigate documented instances of gross mismanagement and perjury.

Cefalu is the veteran street agent who was served termination papers last June for his efforts to bring management wrongdoing to light, a move perceived by other whistleblowers and observers as not just retaliation, but direct defiance of Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and concerns he articulated as Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

“When they showed they were going to tee it up on me and others out of sheer abuse and covering their national screw-ups, I wrote to Feinstein,” Cefalu told this correspondent.
